What We Do
At Antioch University, we believe that counselors, therapists, and psychologists have the power to transform individual lives and shape healthier communities. Our certificates, master’s and doctoral programs in Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy are designed for professionals who want to deepen their expertise, embrace evidence-based practice, and champion inclusive and compassionate care.
Our PsyD in Clinical Psychology programs (offered in Seattle and Keene, NH) prepare reflective clinicians who undertake multiple roles in clinical psychology that include not only therapy and assessment but also supervision, management, applied research, administration, consultation, and public policy. These programs are completed over five years of full-time study, including four years of coursework, the writing of a dissertation, and the completion of a year-long internship, which may be done half-time over two years. Both programs are accredited by the American Psychological Association.
With five locations across the United States and online and low-residency programs accessible globally, Antioch offers diverse educational opportunities. The University is structured into seven schools covering Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy, Education, Environmental Studies and Sustainability, Nursing and Health Professions, Undergraduate Studies, Graduate Leadership and Change, and Distance and Extended
Education, alongside additional departments in Creative Writing and Graduate Management.
